Got an oil change for my Prius at another mechanic a block away. Drove the car 20 feet every light in the dashboard lit up and the car died. That other mechanic looked at it for 2 days and basically said “IDunno take it to the dealer” (which always costs over a $1,000) went to ADAI - $75 - done in 2 hours. Crazy. Thank you!

If you're tired of taking your car in for regular maintenance only to be told that you really should spend hundreds more on this or that service you suspect is probably unnecessary, and if you don't trust quickie oil change places, Asian Domestic is a great alternative. Get there just before opening time of 8:00 (they say they fill up for the day by around 8:30 or 8:40, and they don't take appointments), park somewhere nearby, wait in a short, quickly moving line, give them your key, and get a call later that morning -- no fuss, no hard sell on other stuff, no giant bill. Highly recommended.
