I got ripped off bad. He charged me $380 for a battery and a oil change. My oil life went down to 40% in 1 month. Very overpriced. I don’t recommend this place at all.

My husband was in the area on business, far from our Wisconsin home. Had some muffler problems that he thought needed immediate attention. The guys took him right in, made the repair, charged a reasonable price, and he was on time for his meeting. Great professional and honest business. Would highly recommend!

I was sent to Oak Park & North Auto by another shop believing I needed a repair that would cost over $2500. Howard, the owner, called after giving my car a much needed check, assured me that I did not need that repair, and fixed a few belts and things that I knew were screechy. Everything he did was completely reasonable for a 12+ year old car. This is an shop run by honest people who do solid work. Definitely no frills, but I don't need to pay $200 extra dollars for a fancy waiting area with stale pastries and fancy instant coffee. I'd give the shop more stars if I could!

We have taken all 5 of our cars to them for several years, everything from a Suburban to a VW beetle convertible. They are great! Efficient, reliable, expert and fairly priced. I would recommend them without hesitation or qualification. Since I do not know much about car repairs, it is really a great feeling to know that you can trust them to do what needs to be done correctly.
